The Hansgrohe Group is no stranger to acknowledgement for its satiating sanitary experiences, but its recognition in the form of one of the world’s most renowned design awards in the interior design sector recently broke the mould.
International interior and furniture fair, imm cologne, took place in Cologne, Germany from 14 to 20 January, where AXOR received the iconic award for 2019: “Best of Best”.
The coveted award for the brand’s anniversary collection was accepted by Astrid Bachmann, Deputy Spokesperson and Silvia Olp, Director of Communications at Phoenix Design during the official opening ceremony for the trade fair, where visitors attended from over 145 countries. The AXOR collection, developed in collaboration with Phoenix Design, wowed and wooed the jury with its combination of style and functionality.
“With its clear, rectangular design, the elegant faucet is a harmonious addition to many bathroom environments. The plate comes in a variety of materials, offering a wonderful, refreshingly innovative option for adding a personal touch to the bathroom,” commented the imm cologne jury.
With the Hansgrohe Group firmly believing that the bathroom should be an oasis of tranquillity, enhanced by sleek finishes and clean design that meets the needs and wants of the user, the award was an honour to receive among the 150 000 visitors who attended the event.
